For Fall/Winter 2019, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with the iconic record label Motown.
Arguably the most influential American record label of all time, it is not hyperbolic to say that Motown irrevocably changed the face of music,
in such a way that its influence can still be felt today.
Indeed, Motown didn’t simply reconfigure what hits of that era sounded like, it played an instrumental role in diversifying the airwaves of US radio stations,
bringing us the work of Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, et al.
